Aviva is currently seeking a highly motivated Loss Control Consultant who is passionate about helping businesses to succeed. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in loss control and risk management, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. This position offers a great opportunity for professional growth in a fast-paced and growing environment.The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field, and a minimum of five years of experience in loss control and risk management. In addition, the ideal candidate will have knowledge of and expertise in safety and loss control programs, policies and regulations, as well as strong analytical and communication skills. The ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively with a variety of teams and stakeholders, is essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement safety and loss control programs to reduce risk and maximize business success.
- Monitor and evaluate safety and loss control programs to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
- Analyze data and develop reports to identify trends and areas of improvement.
- Consult with stakeholders to identify and address potential risks and hazards.
- Provide technical guidance to stakeholders on safety and loss control policies and procedures.
- Develop and deliver training on safety and loss control policies and procedures.
- Maintain and update records of incidents and claims.
- Conduct site visits to evaluate safety and loss control measures in place.
- Research and recommend new safety and loss control strategies and technologies.
- Assist in resolving safety and loss control related disputes.
