  1. Develop and implement strategies to enhance cyber detection and response capabilities.
  2. Lead and manage a team of cyber security professionals to ensure timely and effective response to cyber threats.
  3. Monitor and analyze cyber security trends and incidents to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities.
  4. Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment of cyber security strategies with overall business objectives.
  5. Conduct regular risk assessments and implement appropriate controls and countermeasures.
  6. Stay up-to-date with emerging cyber threats and technologies, and make recommendations for improvement.
  7. Manage and maintain relationships with external partners and vendors to enhance cyber security capabilities.
  8. Develop and implement training programs for employees to increase awareness and understanding of cyber security best practices.
  9. Prepare and present reports on the company's cyber security posture to senior management.
  10. Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and standards.
  11. Continuously review and enhance incident response plans and protocols.
  12. Conduct post-incident analysis and provide recommendations for future prevention.
  13. Develop and manage budgets for cyber security initiatives.
  14. Serve as a point of contact for any cyber security-related inquiries or incidents.
  15. Foster a culture of security awareness and responsibility throughout the organization.

  • Extensive Experience In Cyber Security: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Background In Cyber Security, With At Least 10 Years Of Experience In The Field. They Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Current Cyber Threats And The Latest Industry Trends.

  • Excellent Technical Skills: The Head Of Cyber Detection And Response Should Possess Advanced Technical Skills And Knowledge Of Cyber Security Tools And Techniques. They Should Be Able To Analyze Complex Data And Make Informed Decisions To Protect Aviva's Systems From Cyber Attacks.

  • Leadership And Management Experience: This Role Requires Someone Who Can Lead And Manage A Team Effectively. The Ideal Candidate Should Have Prior Experience In A Leadership Role, With Proven Ability To Motivate And Guide Team Members Towards Achieving Common Goals.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As The Head Of Cyber Detection And Response, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Communicating Complex Technical Information To Non-Technical Stakeholders. Therefore, Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential For This Role.
