- Develop and oversee risk management strategies for Gen AI technology within Aviva.
- Identify and assess potential risks associated with Gen AI and develop control measures to mitigate them.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Monitor and analyze data to identify any potential emerging risks related to Gen AI.
- Lead and mentor a team of risk analysts to ensure effective risk management practices are implemented.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in AI technology to continuously improve risk controls.
- Communicate and report on risk management strategies and findings to senior management.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as IT and legal, to ensure alignment and consistency in risk management practices.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and vendors to ensure risk management practices are aligned.
- Conduct regular training and workshops for employees on risk management and control measures for Gen AI technology.
- Implement and maintain a risk assessment framework to continuously monitor and evaluate potential risks.
- Act as a subject matter expert on AI risks and controls, providing guidance and support to other teams within Aviva.
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve risk management processes and procedures.
- Represent Aviva in industry events and conferences to showcase our risk management practices for Gen AI technology.
Knowledge Of Artificial Intelligence: The Gen Ai Risk & Control Lead Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Ai Technologies, Including Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, And Robotics. They Should Also Have A Strong Grasp Of The Ethical And Societal Implications Of Ai.
Risk Management Experience: This Role Requires Extensive Experience In Risk Management, Particularly In The Context Of Ai. The Gen Ai Risk & Control Lead Should Be Able To Identify Potential Risks And Develop Strategies To Mitigate Them, As Well As Stay Up-To-Date On Evolving Risks In The Ai Landscape.
Regulatory Compliance: As Ai Technology Continues To Evolve, So Do Regulations Surrounding Its Use. The Gen Ai Risk & Control Lead Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Relevant Laws And Regulations Related To Ai And Be Able To Ensure Compliance Within The Organization.
Analytical Skills: The Gen Ai Risk & Control Lead Should Have A Strong Analytical Mindset And Be Able To Gather And Interpret Complex Data Related To Ai Risks. They Should Also Be Able To Use This Data To Make Informed Decisions And Recommendations For Risk Management Strategies.
Communication And Leadership: This Role Involves Working With Various Stakeholders, Including Senior Leadership, Technical Teams, And External Partners. The Gen Ai Risk & Control Lead Should Have Excellent Communication Skills To Effectively Articulate Risks And Control Measures To These Stakeholders. They Should Also Have Strong Leadership Abilities To Drive The Implementation Of Risk Management Strategies Within The Organization.
