Aviva is seeking an experienced Compliance Officer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring adherence to policies and regulations, as well as overseeing compliance activities across our business. We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a strong understanding of industry regulations and a commitment to upholding ethical standards.To be successful in this role, you must possess a bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as law, finance, compliance, or accounting. In addition, you must have at least five years of experience in a compliance or related field, and a strong knowledge of relevant compliance regulations. Responsibilities:
- Monitor all compliance activities across the business and ensure adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Develop and implement effective procedures to ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations.
- Keep abreast of changes in relevant regulations and ensure compliance with the latest requirements.
- Analyze and investigate potential compliance issues and ensure appropriate corrective action is taken when necessary.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Prepare reports for senior management on compliance activities and ensure all relevant documents are kept up to date.
- Provide guidance and advice to staff on compliance matters.
- Identify areas of risk and ensure appropriate measures are taken to mitigate them.
- Assist with the development and implementation of training programs to ensure staff are aware of regulatory changes.
- Perform periodic audits to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations.
