  1. Conduct thorough analysis of Aviva's current environmental impact.
  2. Identify areas of improvement and innovation to reduce our carbon footprint.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sustainable strategies.
  4. Stay up-to-date on current climate issues and regulations to ensure compliance.
  5. Work with external partners and stakeholders to promote sustainable practices.
  6. Develop and maintain metrics to track progress towards sustainability goals.
  7. Conduct research and gather data to support decision-making.
  8. Communicate findings and recommendations to senior leadership and relevant departments.
  9. Develop and implement training programs to educate employees on sustainability practices.
  10. Monitor and report on environmental performance and identify potential risks or opportunities.
  11. Stay informed on industry best practices and trends related to climate stewardship.
  12. Seek out and suggest new partnerships and initiatives to further Aviva's commitment to sustainability.
  13. Act as a representative for Aviva in sustainability-related events and conferences.
  14. Continuously evaluate and improve upon existing sustainability strategies and initiatives.
  15. Foster a culture of sustainability and environmental responsibility within the company.
  16. Act as a resource for employees, customers, and stakeholders on sustainability-related inquiries.
  17. Work towards achieving and maintaining relevant environmental certifications and accreditations.
  18. Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to effectively communicate Aviva's sustainability efforts to the public.
  19. Monitor and manage budgets and resources allocated for sustainability initiatives.
  20. Uphold Aviva's values and commitment to being a responsible and sustainable company.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Environmental Science, Sustainability, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Climate Change Mitigation Or Adaptation Strategies.

  • Strong Understanding Of Climate Science, Policies, And Regulations.

  • Experience In Data Analysis And Reporting Related To Greenhouse Gas Emissions And Sustainability Metrics.

  • Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills To Work With Various Stakeholders And Teams Within The Company.
