We are currently seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join our team as a BPA Pricing Actuary. As the BPA Pricing Actuary, you will have the opportunity to utilize your actuarial expertise to develop and implement pricing strategies for our Bulk Purchase Annuity (BPA) products. This is a crucial role within our organization, as you will play a key role in driving the profitability of our BPA business.   1. Develop and implement pricing strategies for Bulk Purchase Annuity (BPA) products.
  2. Utilize actuarial expertise to analyze data and provide insights to inform pricing decisions.
  3. Monitor and evaluate the performance of BPA products and make recommendations for pricing adjustments as needed.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of pricing strategies with business objectives.
  5. Conduct market research and stay up-to-date with industry trends to inform pricing decisions.
  6. Communicate complex actuarial concepts and data to non-technical stakeholders.
  7. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies in all pricing decisions.
  8. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of pricing models.
  9. Mentor and train junior team members on actuarial techniques and best practices.
  10. Monitor and analyze competitor pricing strategies to inform pricing decisions.
  11. Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop competitive pricing proposals for potential clients.
  12. Participate in budget planning and forecasting for the BPA business.
  13. Communicate pricing decisions and rationale to senior management and other stakeholders.
  14. Continuously evaluate and improve pricing processes and procedures to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  15. Stay informed of industry developments and changes in actuarial standards and regulations.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Or A Related Field.

  • At Least 3-5 Years Of Experience In Pricing And Product Development In The Insurance Industry.

  • Strong Understanding Of Actuarial Concepts And Techniques, Including Experience With Pricing Models And Software.

  • Accreditation With A Recognized Actuarial Society (E.g. Soa, Cas) Or Significant Progress Towards Accreditation.

  • Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Communicate Complex Concepts To Non-Technical Stakeholders.
