  1. Lead the digital engineering team to drive technology transformation initiatives and innovation at Aviva.
  2. Develop and implement a strategic roadmap for digital engineering, aligning with Aviva's overall business goals and objectives.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for leveraging technology to enhance customer experiences and drive business growth.
  4. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in digital engineering to continuously improve and evolve Aviva's digital capabilities.
  5. Set and manage the budget for digital engineering projects, ensuring efficient resource allocation and cost-effective solutions.
  6. Oversee the design, development, and implementation of digital solutions, ensuring they meet quality standards and are delivered on time and within budget.
  7. Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the digital engineering team.
  8. Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, promoting their professional development and growth.
  9. Establish and maintain strong relationships with external technology partners and vendors.
  10. Collaborate with senior leadership to communicate the value of digital engineering initiatives and gain buy-in for new projects.
  11. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, laws, and best practices related to digital engineering and data privacy.
  12. Monitor and report on the progress of digital engineering projects, identifying and addressing any issues or roadblocks.
  13. Work closely with the marketing and customer experience teams to understand customer needs and incorporate them into digital solutions.
  14. Drive a customer-centric mindset within the digital engineering team, prioritizing user experience and satisfaction in all projects.
  15. Continuously assess and improve Aviva's digital engineering processes and procedures.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In Technology Leadership Roles, Preferably In Digital Transformation Projects.

  • Strong Understanding Of Emerging Technologies And Their Applications In The Insurance Industry.

  • Proven Track Record Of Leading Successful Digital Transformation Initiatives And Driving Innovation.

  • Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills, With The Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships With Key Stakeholders.

  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Computer Science, Engineering, Or A Related Field. Mba Or Other Business Qualifications Are A Plus.
