Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and innovative Actuarial Analyst to join Aviva's actuarial team. As an Actuarial Analyst, you will be responsible for providing critical analysis and insight to drive our actuarial strategies forward. You will be skilled in identifying and analysing data, and in providing timely and accurate advice to stakeholders.We require a candidate with a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as mathematics, statistics, or actuarial science, as well as a minimum of two years' experience in an actuarial role. A strong understanding of actuarial principles and good knowledge of actuarial techniques and modelling software is essential.You will be a passionate and motivated professional, driven to analyse data and identify trends. You will have excellent communication skills, and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels. Responsibilities:

  1. Analyse and interpret data to identify trends and develop strategies to support Aviva's actuarial objectives.
  2. Develop accurate and timely actuarial models and techniques to support the actuarial team.
  3. Establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  4. Provide advice and insight to stakeholders in a timely manner.
  5. Monitor and report on trends and changes in the actuarial environment.
  6. Work independently or as part of a team to achieve desired outcomes.
  7. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of actuarial principles and techniques.
  8. Utilize actuarial modelling software to develop models and techniques.
  9. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and procedures.
  10. Meet all deadlines and goals set by the actuarial team.
