
Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse (RN)
At Atrium Health, we are looking for a highly experienced and compassionate Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse (RN) to join our team and provide quality care to patients. Our ideal candidate must have a valid nursing license, an Associate's degree in nursing, and at least one year of experience as a WOC nurse. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and developing plans to help patients with wound management, ostomy, and continence care. The RN must have a compassionate and patient-focused attitude, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and be committed to providing the highest quality of care to patients. The successful candidate will also need excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to prioritize tasks and multitask in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:
- Develop individualized patient care plans for wound management, ostomy, and continence care.
- Monitor patient’s condition and progress, and adjust patient care plans as needed.
- Assess patient’s needs and provide necessary information and guidance to patients and their families.
- Work closely with other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Provide patient education regarding wound management, ostomy, and continence care.
- Remain knowledgeable of the latest industry developments and best practices.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and professional standards and regulations.
- Administer medication and treatments as prescribed.
Current Rn Licensure In The State Of North Carolina
Certification In Wound
