  1. Perform high-quality diagnostic vascular ultrasound examinations on patients.
  2. Utilize advanced ultrasound technology and techniques to accurately image and identify vascular abnormalities.
  3. Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures.
  4. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
  5. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to determine appropriate imaging protocols.
  6. Monitor patient vital signs and respond to any adverse reactions during procedures.
  7. Educate patients on the procedure and answer any questions or concerns they may have.
  8. Keep up-to-date with advances in ultrasound technology and techniques.
  9. Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  10. Assist in the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures.
  11. Attend continuing education and training programs to maintain and enhance skills.
  12. Act as a resource for other staff members and provide guidance when needed.
  13. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  14. Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.
  15. Maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times.
  16. Provide exceptional patient care and ensure patient satisfaction.
  17. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
  18. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and department efficiency.

Job Qualifications
  • Associate's Or Bachelor's Degree In Diagnostic Medical Sonography Or Related Field.

  • Certification As A Registered Vascular Technologist (Rvt) Through The American Registry For Diagnostic Medical Sonography (Ardms).

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working As A Vascular Sonographer In A Hospital Or Medical Setting.

  • Knowledge Of And Experience With Various Vascular Imaging Techniques, Including Doppler Ultrasound, Duplex Imaging, And Transcranial Doppler.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Closely With Patients And Other Healthcare Professionals.
