- Greet and welcome patients and guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Park and retrieve vehicles in a safe and efficient manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized valet parking area.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting patients and guests with any needs or questions.
- Follow proper protocols and procedures for handling and securing vehicles.
- Keep track of keys and ensure accurate and timely retrieval of vehicles.
- Communicate effectively with team members and other staff to ensure a smooth operation.
- Assist with loading and unloading of patient belongings and equipment as needed.
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.
- Adhere to safety and security procedures to ensure the safety of patients, guests, and their vehicles.
- Keep track of parking inventory and report any issues or concerns to management.
- Assist with any special requests or accommodations for patients and guests.
- Maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information.
- Continuously strive to improve the valet service and provide feedback to management.
- Attend trainings and meetings as required to stay updated on policies and procedures.
Experience In Customer Service: A Valet Parker At Atrium Health Should Have Previous Experience In A Customer-Facing Role, As They Will Be Interacting With Patients, Visitors, And Staff On A Daily Basis.
Valid Driver's License: The Valet Parker Must Have A Valid Driver's License And A Clean Driving Record, As They Will Be Responsible For Safely Parking And Retrieving Vehicles.
Excellent Communication Skills: Clear Communication Is Essential For A Valet Parker To Coordinate And Assist With The Efficient Flow Of Traffic In And Out Of The Hospital's Parking Areas.
Attention To Detail: A Valet Parker Must Have Strong Attention To Detail To Accurately Record Vehicle Information And Ensure The Safe Handling Of Keys And Personal Belongings Left In Vehicles.
Physical Stamina: This Job Requires Long Periods Of Standing, Walking, And Running, As Well As The Ability To Lift And Move Heavy Objects Such As Luggage And Wheelchairs. Therefore, Physical Stamina And Strength Are Important Qualifications For A Valet Parker At Atrium Health.
