Ultrasound Technologist

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to delivering the highest quality of care to our patients.To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate must have an Associate degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a completion of a Diagnostic Medical Sonography program and American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) certification. The Ultrasound Technologist must also be knowledgeable of medical terminology and anatomy, have the ability to make decisions and problem solve, and be able to lift and move equipment and supplies. Responsibilities:

1. Perform ultrasound examinations on patients in a hospital setting in accordance with established protocols and standards of practice.
2. Utilize relevant anatomy and medical terminology to accurately interpret examination results.
3. Maintain a neat and organized work area.
4. Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
5. Prepare and position patients for ultrasound examinations.
6. Document examination results in a timely and accurate manner.
7. Monitor and ensure quality control standards are met.
8. Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines.
9. Maintain all required certifications.
10. Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals in the management and delivery of patient care.
