  1. Lead and drive trauma recovery and resilience research efforts for Atrium Health.
  2. Develop and implement research strategies and protocols to improve outcomes for patients and the community.
  3. Stay updated on the latest research and evidence-based practices in the field of trauma recovery and resilience.
  4. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of healthcare professionals to conduct meaningful research.
  5. Design and oversee research studies, including data collection, analysis, and interpretation.
  6. Develop and maintain partnerships with external organizations and research institutions.
  7. Communicate research findings and recommendations to key stakeholders within Atrium Health.
  8. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior researchers and research staff.
  9. Ensure compliance with all ethical and regulatory requirements related to research studies.
  10. Participate in grant writing and fundraising efforts to support research projects.
  11. Utilize strong leadership skills to effectively manage research teams and projects.
  12. Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that encourages innovation and creativity.
  13. Represent Atrium Health at professional conferences and events related to trauma recovery and resilience research.
  14. Contribute to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices for trauma recovery and resilience within Atrium Health.
  15. Continuously evaluate and improve research processes and procedures to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.

Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree In Psychology Or A Related Field: A Strong Candidate For The Trauma Recovery & Resilience Research Lead Position At Atrium Health Should Possess A Minimum Of A Master's Degree In Psychology Or A Related Field, With A Preference For Candidates With A Doctoral Degree.

  • Extensive Research Experience: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience Conducting Research In The Field Of Trauma Recovery And Resilience, With A Demonstrated Track Record Of Publications And Grant Funding.

  • Expertise In Trauma-Informed Care: A Deep Understanding Of Trauma-Informed Care And Evidence-Based Practices For Trauma Recovery Is Essential For This Role. The Candidate Should Have Experience Working With Trauma Survivors And A Thorough Understanding Of Trauma-Related Disorders.

  • Strong Leadership Skills: As The Research Lead For Trauma Recovery & Resilience At Atrium Health, The Candidate Should Possess Strong Leadership Skills, Including The Ability To Manage And Mentor A Team Of Researchers, Collaborate With Other Departments, And Oversee Research Projects From Conception To Completion.

  • Excellent Communication And Collaboration Abilities: The Trauma Recovery & Resilience Research Lead Will Be Expected To Work Closely With Other Departments, Community Partners, And External Stakeholders.
