  1. Assist in preparing operating rooms for surgical procedures, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available and in working order.
  2. Provide support to surgeons and other healthcare professionals during surgical procedures, including passing instruments and maintaining a sterile environment.
  3. Assist in positioning and transferring patients before and after surgery, following proper safety protocols.
  4. Monitor and document patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the surgical team.
  5. Prepare and maintain surgical equipment, instruments, and supplies, ensuring they are properly sterilized and organized.
  6. Collaborate with other healthcare team members to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
  7. Assist with patient transport and transfer to and from the operating room.
  8. Maintain accurate and complete records of patient information and surgical procedures.
  9. Follow all safety and infection control protocols to ensure the safety of patients and staff.
  10. Provide compassionate and respectful care to patients and their families, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
  11. Participate in ongoing training and education to maintain and improve skills and knowledge related to surgical procedures and equipment.
  12. Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and regulations.
  13. Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
  14. Communicate effectively and professionally with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  15. Perform other duties as assigned by the Surgical Services Manager or other supervisors.

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent Required.

  • Completion Of A Certified Surgical Technologist Program Or Equivalent Surgical Services Training Preferred.

  • Minimum Of 1 Year Experience In A Surgical Setting Preferred.

  • Must Have Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills.

  • Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced, High-Stress Environment And Handle Multiple Tasks Simultaneously.
