1. Provide exceptional care to patients by utilizing evidence-based practices and following established protocols and procedures.
2. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
3. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and monitor patient responses.
4. Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner using electronic medical records.
5. Assist with patient and family education regarding disease processes, treatment plans, and self-care techniques.
6. Monitor and assess patients' physical and emotional status, report any changes to the healthcare team.
7. Maintain a safe and clean work environment by adhering to infection control and safety standards.
8. Participate in ongoing education and training opportunities to enhance clinical knowledge and skills.
9. Demonstrate professional behavior and ethical standards in all interactions with patients, families, and colleagues.
10. Adhere to Atrium Health's policies and procedures, including confidentiality and HIPAA regulations.
11. Serve as a role model for student nurses and new employees, providing guidance and support as needed.
12. Contribute to quality improvement efforts by identifying areas for improvement and participating in initiatives to enhance patient care.
13. Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing compassionate and empathetic care.
14. Maintain a positive attitude and foster a supportive work environment for colleagues.

18. Complete all required documentation and paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
19. Maintain a current and active RN license and meet all continuing education requirements.
20. Other duties as assigned by the Nurse Manager or other supervisory personnel.
