
Senior Statistician
At Atrium Health, we are looking for a talented, driven Senior Statistician to join our passionate team of healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of healthcare analytics, research methods, and data analysis, combined with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.The successful applicant must have a Master's degree in Statistics or a related field and at least 5 years of experience in a similar role. The Senior Statistician should also have extensive experience with statistical software programs, such as SAS, R, or SPSS, and be able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. Proficiency in Excel and Tableau is also a plus. The Senior Statistician should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and have the ability to interpret complex data sets and make timely, informed decisions. Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement statistical analysis plans for healthcare-related research projects.
- Analyze and interpret complex data sets and present results in a clear and concise manner.
- Utilize statistical software programs (e.g. SAS, R, SPSS, etc.) to accurately analyze data and identify trends.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure that data is collected and analyzed in a timely and accurate manner.
- Develop reports and presentations to effectively communicate results and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Utilize Excel and Tableau to accurately visualize data.
- Monitor and stay up to date with the latest advances in healthcare analytics and research.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior statisticians and other team members on data analysis and interpretation.
- Maintain effective communication with team members and other stakeholders to ensure the successful completion of research projects.
- Develop and maintain quality assurance systems to ensure accuracy and reliability of data.
