
RN PRN Nights - Med/Surg Telemetry Renal

- Provide direct patient care to individuals admitted to the Med/Surg Telemetry Renal unit, including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care plans.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Monitor and document patient progress and respond to any changes in condition.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Educate patients and their families on their conditions and necessary care.
- Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and meetings to discuss patient care and outcomes.

Active Rn License In The State Of Employment: The Ideal Candidate For This Position Should Possess An Active Rn License In The State Where The Job Is Located. This Ensures That The Candidate Is Legally Allowed To Practice As A Registered Nurse And Has Met All The Necessary Requirements For Licensure.
Minimum Of 1 Year Of Experience In Med/Surg Telemetry Renal: Atrium Health Is Seeking An Experienced Rn With A Minimum Of 1 Year Of Experience In Med/Surg Telemetry Renal. This Experience Will Enable The Candidate To Provide Quality Care To Patients And Handle The Complex Needs Of This Specialized Unit.
Bls And Acls Certifications: The Candidate Should Possess Current Basic Life Support (Bls) And Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Acls) Certifications. These Certifications Demonstrate The Candidate's Ability To Respond To Emergency Situations And Provide Life-Saving Interventions.
Ability To Work Nights And Weekends On A Prn Basis: This Position Requires The Candidate To Work Night Shifts And Weekends On An As-Needed Basis. The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Flexible Schedule And Be Able To Work These Shifts As Per The Needs Of The Unit.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As An Rn In This Role, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Communicating With Patients, Families, And Other Healthcare Professionals. Strong Communication Skills And The Ability To Work Well In A Team Are Essential For Providing High-Quality Care And Promoting Positive Patient Outcomes.
