We are currently seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Pediatrics team on weekend days.   1. Provide exceptional care to pediatric patients by assessing their needs, administering treatments and medications, and monitoring their progress.
  2. Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans for pediatric patients.
  3. Ensure the safety and comfort of pediatric patients by maintaining a clean and organized environment and following infection control protocols.
  4. Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing education and support to promote optimal health and well-being.
  5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation, adhering to all regulatory and legal requirements.
  6. Remain current on best practices and advancements in pediatric nursing, continuously seeking opportunities for professional development.
  7. Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address complex patient needs, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel as needed.
  8. Serve as a patient advocate, ensuring their needs and preferences are considered in all aspects of care.
  9. Demonstrate a compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care, fostering a positive and supportive environment for pediatric patients and their families.
  10. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, including those related to patient confidentiality and ethical standards.

Job Qualifications
  • Current And Unrestricted Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of North Carolina.

  • Bls Certification From The American Heart Association.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Pediatric Nursing.

  • Bachelor Of Science In Nursing (Bsn) Degree Or Higher From An Accredited Institution.

  • Ability To Work Weekends And Holidays As Scheduled.
