Job Description

Atrium Health is seeking a dedicated RN, Patient Navigator, Radiology to join our team. As a Patient Navigator, you will play a crucial role in guiding and supporting patients through the complex process of radiology procedures. We are looking for someone with strong clinical knowledge and exceptional communication skills to provide the highest level of patient care. If you have a passion for helping others and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you. A minimum of an RN license and experience in radiology is required for this role.

  1. Provide compassionate care to patients undergoing radiology procedures.
  2. Serve as a guide and support system for patients throughout their radiology journey.
  3. Utilize strong clinical knowledge to educate and inform patients about their procedures and potential outcomes.
  4. Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a seamless and coordinated care experience.
  5. Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care and progress.
  6. Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare team members to develop individualized treatment plans for patients.
  7. Monitor patients for any adverse reactions or complications during and after procedures, taking appropriate action as needed.
  8. Advocate for patients' needs and concerns, ensuring they receive the highest level of care and support.
  9. Stay updated on current trends and advancements in radiology procedures and technology.
  10. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as legal and ethical standards.
  11. Provide guidance and support to other healthcare professionals, including new staff members and students.
  12. Maintain a safe and clean work environment, following infection control protocols.
  13. Continuously evaluate and improve patient care processes and procedures.
  14. Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

Job Qualifications
