Job Description

At Atrium Health, we are looking for an RN Coordinator Pediatric Liver Transplant who is passionate about providing quality care for our patients. We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced professional to join our team and become an integral part of our pediatric transplant team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pediatric nursing and a dedication to ensuring optimal outcomes for our patients.The RN Coordinator Pediatric Liver Transplant will be responsible for providing patient-centered care for pediatric patients receiving liver transplantation. This individual will collaborate closely with the medical team, as well as provide education and support to families and patients throughout the transplant process.The successful candidate must have a valid RN license, and at least 3 years of experience in a pediatric nursing role. An understanding of the post-transplant care process is also essential. We are looking for a compassionate individual who is highly organized and has excellent communication skills. Above all, we require an individual who is passionate about providing the highest quality care for our pediatric patients.

Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate closely with the medical team to ensure optimal outcomes for pediatric patients receiving liver transplantation.
  2. Provide patient-centered care for pediatric patients throughout the transplant process.
  3. Educate and support families and patients throughout the transplant process.
  4. Ensure that all required nursing documentation is completed in a timely fashion.
  5. Maintain a valid RN license and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  6. Demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skills.
  7. Provide the highest quality care for our pediatric patients.
  8. Participate in continuing education to stay up to date with best practices in pediatric nursing.
