Job Description

At Atrium Health, we are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Residency Coordinator to join our team and support our residency program. The ideal candidate will be a highly organized and detail-oriented professional who can demonstrate a passion for clinical education and a commitment to providing excellent service to our residents and staff. The successful candidate will be expected to bring expertise in coordinating residency program activities, including but not limited to recruiting, interviewing, scheduling, and tracking resident progress. This individual must also be able to collaborate effectively with faculty, staff, and external stakeholders while maintaining a professional and positive attitude.To be considered for this position, applicants must possess a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of three years of experience in a clinical education or residency coordination role. Additionally, strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, are essential.

Responsibilities:

  1. Coordinate and facilitate the recruitment, interviewing, and selection of residents.
  2. Develop, implement, and maintain efficient systems for tracking resident progress.
  3. Provide support and guidance to residents during their residency program.
  4. Collaborate with faculty, staff, and external stakeholders to ensure successful program operations.
  5. Execute administrative tasks related to program activities, such as scheduling, budgeting, and data management.
  6. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of residency program components.
  7. Create and maintain a positive and professional environment for residents and staff.
  8. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of residency program regulations and accreditation standards.
  9. Set goals and objectives to ensure the success of the residency program.
  10. Assist with other related duties and projects as assigned.
