Registered Nurse - Outpatient

This individual will collaborate with physicians, other healthcare professionals, and a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest quality of patient care.We are looking for a Registered Nurse with the following qualifications:• A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN), or Diploma in Nursing• An active Registered Nurse license in North Carolina• A minimum of one year of experience in an Outpatient setting• Strong interpersonal and communication skills• The ability to work independently as well as part of a team• A commitment to providing the highest quality of patient careIf you have a passion for patient care and the qualifications necessary to excel in this role, we would love to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

1. Perform patient assessments and assessments of patient needs.
2. Develop patient care plans and coordinate care with physicians, other healthcare professionals, and multidisciplinary teams.
3. Provide direct patient care and administer medications as needed.
4. Monitor patient progress and respond to any changes in condition.
5. Document patient care activities in accordance with established policies and procedures.
6. Educate patients, families, and other healthcare team members on disease processes and treatments.
7. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure the highest standards of care are delivered.
8. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations governing patient care.
9. Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
10. Utilize evidence-based practice to provide the highest quality of care.
