- Provide compassionate and skilled nursing care to patients undergoing surgery.
- Collaborate with surgeons and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective surgical outcomes.
- Utilize clinical expertise to assess and monitor patient's condition during the perioperative period.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Educate patients and their families about their surgical procedures and post-operative care.
- Monitor and maintain a sterile and safe operating room environment.
- Act as a patient advocate and ensure their needs and concerns are addressed.
- Communicate effectively with the healthcare team to coordinate and provide comprehensive care.

- Participate in continuous education and training to stay current with evidence-based practices and procedures.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and regulations.

Bachelor's Degree In Nursing: A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Nursing From An Accredited Institution Is Required For This Position.
Active Rn License: Must Hold A Valid And Active Registered Nurse License In The State Of North Carolina Or Be Eligible To Obtain One.
Previous Or Experience: A Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working In An Operating Room Setting Is Preferred.
Bls And Acls Certification: Must Be Certified In Basic Life Support (Bls) And Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Acls) Prior To Starting In The Role.
Strong Communication And Team Collaboration Skills: The Ability To Effectively Communicate With Patients, Families, And Colleagues In A Fast-Paced Environment Is Essential For Success In This Role. Additionally, The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Other Healthcare Professionals Is Crucial In The Operating Room Setting.
