- Conduct and oversee oncology research studies to contribute to the advancement of cancer treatment and care.
- Develop and implement research protocols in accordance with ethical and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to identify research opportunities and design studies.
- Collect and analyze data, and present findings to colleagues and healthcare professionals.
- Stay current with industry developments and trends in oncology research.
- Provide guidance and expertise to other healthcare professionals on research-related topics.
- Ensure compliance with all research protocols and regulations.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of research data and findings.
- Act as a liaison between the healthcare organization and external research partners.
- Educate and inform patients and their families about ongoing research studies and their potential benefits.
- Assist in the development of research grants and funding proposals.
- Participate in conferences and seminars to share knowledge and experiences with the wider healthcare community.
- Continuously evaluate and improve research processes and procedures.
- Support and promote a culture of patient-centered care and evidence-based practice.
- Uphold the values and standards of Atrium Health in all aspects of the role.
Current And Active Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of North Carolina.
Bachelor's Degree In Nursing (Bsn) From An Accredited Institution.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Oncology Nursing, Preferably In A Research Setting.
Certification In Oncology Nursing (Ocn) Or Clinical Research (Ccrp) Preferred.
Strong Communication And Critical Thinking Skills, As Well As The Ability To Work Independently And As Part Of A Multidisciplinary Team.
