
Registered Nurse - Hemodialysis

- Provide specialized hemodialysis care to patients while ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Monitor and assess patients' vital signs, lab results, and overall condition during hemodialysis treatments.
- Administer medications and treatment as prescribed by physicians.
- Educate patients and their families about hemodialysis treatment and self-care techniques.
- Collaborate with other healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure quality of care and patient satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care and progress.
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols while performing hemodialysis procedures.
- Assist with the maintenance and calibration of hemodialysis equipment.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with advancements and best practices in hemodialysis care.
- Act as an advocate for patients' rights, needs, and concerns.
- Show compassion and empathy towards patients and their families, and provide emotional support as needed.
- Be adaptable and flexible in responding to changing patient needs and emergent situations.
- Adhere to all regulatory and institutional policies and procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions with patients, families, and colleagues.
Current Rn License In The State Of North Carolina.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Hemodialysis Nursing.
Bsn Degree Or Higher From An Accredited Nursing Program.
Certification In Hemodialysis Nursing (Cnn) Preferred.
Strong Clinical Skills And Ability To Handle Complex Patient Cases.
