  1. Provide compassionate care to patients recovering from cardiac procedures and illnesses.
  2. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  3. Monitor and assess patients' vital signs and overall condition.
  4. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  5. Educate patients and their families about cardiac conditions, treatments, and self-care strategies.
  6. Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care.
  7. Monitor and ensure compliance with infection control protocols.
  8. Respond to emergencies and provide immediate care as needed.
  9. Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.
  10. Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain and improve clinical skills.
  11. Support a positive and collaborative work environment.
  12. Display a high level of professionalism and empathy towards patients and their families.
  13. Advocate for patients' rights and promote patient-centered care.

Job Qualifications
  • Valid Rn License: All Candidates Must Possess A Current And Valid License To Practice As A Registered Nurse In The State Of North Carolina.

  • Bls And Acls Certification: Applicants Must Have Current Basic Life Support (Bls) And Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (Acls) Certifications From The American Heart Association.

  • Previous Cardiac Experience: A Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working In A Cardiac Setting Is Required For This Role, Preferably In A Stepdown Or Critical Care Unit.

  • Bachelor Of Science In Nursing (Bsn) Degree: A Bsn Is Preferred For This Position, Although Candidates With An Associate's Degree In Nursing (Adn) May Also Be Considered.

  • Excellent Communication And Critical Thinking Skills: The Ability To Communicate Effectively With Patients, Families, And Other Healthcare Team Members, As Well As Think Critically And Make Quick Decisions, Is Essential For Success In This Role.
