Registered Nurse - Cardiovascular Observation

- Provide exceptional care to patients with cardiac conditions through close monitoring and observation.
- Utilize expert knowledge and skills in cardiovascular care to assess, diagnose, and treat patients.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to develop individualized care plans for patients.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor and record vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and other relevant patient data.
- Respond quickly and effectively to changes in patient condition, notifying physicians and taking appropriate action.
- Educate patients and their families on cardiovascular health, disease management, and treatment options.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care and progress.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
- Continuously strive to improve patient outcomes and quality of care through ongoing education and professional development.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and coordinate care.
- Foster a compassionate and supportive environment for patients and their families.
- Maintain confidentiality and respect for patients' rights and privacy.
- Demonstrate effective communication and teamwork skills with colleagues and other healthcare professionals.
- Adhere to ethical and legal standards in patient care and documentation.
Current Rn License: The Candidate Must Have A Valid And Unrestricted Rn License In The State Of North Carolina, Or Be Eligible To Obtain One.
Bsn Degree: A Bachelor's Degree In Nursing Is Preferred, As It Demonstrates A Higher Level Of Education And Knowledge In The Nursing Field.
Acls Certification: The Candidate Must Be Certified In Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Acls) And Have A Thorough Understanding Of Cardiac Emergencies And Interventions.
Experience In Cardiovascular Nursing: A Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Cardiac Care Unit Or Similar Setting Is Preferred. This Includes Experience With Monitoring And Managing Patients With Various Cardiac Conditions.
Strong Communication And Critical Thinking Skills: The Candidate Should Possess Excellent Communication Skills, Both Written And Verbal, And Be Able To Think Critically And Make Quick Decisions In High-Pressure Situations. This Is Crucial In Providing Quality Care To Patients In A Fast-Paced Environment.
