  1. Provide exceptional care to patients with cardiac conditions through close monitoring and observation.
  2. Utilize expert knowledge and skills in cardiovascular care to assess, diagnose, and treat patients.
  3. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to develop individualized care plans for patients.
  4. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  5. Monitor and record vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and other relevant patient data.
  6. Respond quickly and effectively to changes in patient condition, notifying physicians and taking appropriate action.
  7. Educate patients and their families on cardiovascular health, disease management, and treatment options.
  8. Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care and progress.
  9. Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
  10. Continuously strive to improve patient outcomes and quality of care through ongoing education and professional development.
  11. Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and coordinate care.
  12. Foster a compassionate and supportive environment for patients and their families.
  13. Maintain confidentiality and respect for patients' rights and privacy.
  14. Demonstrate effective communication and teamwork skills with colleagues and other healthcare professionals.
  15. Adhere to ethical and legal standards in patient care and documentation.

Job Qualifications
  • Current Rn License: The Candidate Must Have A Valid And Unrestricted Rn License In The State Of North Carolina, Or Be Eligible To Obtain One.

  • Bsn Degree: A Bachelor's Degree In Nursing Is Preferred, As It Demonstrates A Higher Level Of Education And Knowledge In The Nursing Field.

  • Acls Certification: The Candidate Must Be Certified In Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Acls) And Have A Thorough Understanding Of Cardiac Emergencies And Interventions.

  • Experience In Cardiovascular Nursing: A Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Cardiac Care Unit Or Similar Setting Is Preferred. This Includes Experience With Monitoring And Managing Patients With Various Cardiac Conditions.

  • Strong Communication And Critical Thinking Skills: The Candidate Should Possess Excellent Communication Skills, Both Written And Verbal, And Be Able To Think Critically And Make Quick Decisions In High-Pressure Situations. This Is Crucial In Providing Quality Care To Patients In A Fast-Paced Environment.
