  1. Perform radiation therapy procedures on patients according to established protocols and treatment plans.
  2. Operate and maintain advanced radiation therapy equipment, ensuring accuracy and safety at all times.
  3. Monitor and assess patient responses to treatment, making necessary adjustments as directed by the Radiation Oncologist.
  4. Follow strict safety protocols and procedures to minimize risk of exposure to radiation for both patients and staff.
  5. Educate patients and their families about the treatment process, potential side effects, and ways to manage them.
  6. Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient treatments, progress, and responses.
  7. Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to develop comprehensive treatment plans and provide coordinated care to patients.
  8. Stay updated on advancements in radiation therapy technology and techniques, and incorporate them into practice as appropriate.
  9. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards related to radiation therapy.
  10. Provide emotional support and comfort to patients during treatment, and address any concerns or questions they may have.
  11. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  12. Demonstrate professionalism, compassion, and empathy towards patients, families, and colleagues at all times.
  13. Adhere to ethical and legal standards in all aspects of job performance.
  14. Attend and actively participate in departmental meetings, trainings, and continuing education opportunities.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Radiation Therapy Or Related Field.

  • Certification From The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt).

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Radiation Therapy.

  • Knowledge Of Advanced Treatment Planning Techniques And Equipment.

  • Excellent Communication And Patient Care Skills.
