  1. Conduct radiation safety tests and measurements to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
  2. Develop and implement quality assurance programs to ensure accuracy and precision in radiation therapy procedures.
  3. Collaborate with medical staff and other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans for patients.
  4. Monitor and maintain radiation equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety.
  5. Evaluate and analyze patient data to ensure accurate treatment delivery.

  11. Troubleshoot equipment issues and provide solutions in a timely manner.
  12. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
  13. Act as a resource for other healthcare professionals regarding radiation therapy.
  14. Continuously evaluate and improve processes and procedures to enhance patient care and safety.
  15. Participate in professional development activities, including conferences and workshops, to stay current in the field of radiation physics.

Job Qualifications
  • A Advanced Degree In Medical Physics, Radiation Physics, Or A Related Field.

  • Certification By The American Board Of Radiology In Radiation Oncology Physics.

  • Experience With Radiation Therapy Equipment, Including Linear Accelerators And Imaging Systems.

  • Knowledge Of Regulations And Safety Standards Related To Radiation Therapy, Such As Nrc And Osha Requirements.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Develop And Implement Treatment Plans For Complex Cases.
