- Coordinate and schedule imaging procedures for patients, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of services.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to determine appropriate procedures and ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
- Communicate effectively with patients, family members, and staff to provide clear and concise information about procedures.
- Prepare and maintain necessary supplies and equipment for procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety guidelines.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of supplies and equipment, ordering as needed.
- Assist in the training and onboarding of new team members.
- Proactively identify and troubleshoot any issues that may arise during procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines at all times.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to continually improve the patient experience.
- Act as a liaison between medical staff and other departments to ensure seamless coordination of procedures.

Knowledge Of Medical Imaging Equipment: A Procedure Coordinator - Imaging Services Must Have A Strong Understanding Of Various Imaging Equipment And Technologies Used In A Medical Setting. This Includes X-Rays, Mri Machines, Ct Scanners, And Ultrasound Machines.
Experience In Healthcare Administration: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Prior Experience In A Healthcare Administrative Role, As They Will Be Responsible For Overseeing The Scheduling, Billing, And Coordination Of Imaging Procedures. This Requires A Thorough Understanding Of Healthcare Processes And Regulations.
Strong Communication Skills: As A Procedure Coordinator, Effective Communication Is Crucial In Coordinating With Patients, Physicians, And Imaging Technicians. The Ability To Clearly And Concisely Convey Important Information Is Essential To Ensure Procedures Run Smoothly.
