  1. Coordinate and schedule imaging procedures for patients, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of services.
  2. Collaborate with healthcare providers to determine appropriate procedures and ensure patient safety and comfort.
  3. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
  4. Communicate effectively with patients, family members, and staff to provide clear and concise information about procedures.
  5. Prepare and maintain necessary supplies and equipment for procedures.
  6. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety guidelines.
  7. Monitor and maintain inventory levels of supplies and equipment, ordering as needed.
  8. Assist in the training and onboarding of new team members.
  9. Proactively identify and troubleshoot any issues that may arise during procedures.
  10. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines at all times.
  11. Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families.
  12. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to continually improve the patient experience.
  13. Act as a liaison between medical staff and other departments to ensure seamless coordination of procedures.
  14. Follow established protocols and procedures for accurate and timely completion of tasks.
  15. Continuously strive to improve processes and procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  16. Attend and actively participate in departmental meetings and trainings.

Job Qualifications
  • Knowledge Of Medical Imaging Equipment: A Procedure Coordinator - Imaging Services Must Have A Strong Understanding Of Various Imaging Equipment And Technologies Used In A Medical Setting. This Includes X-Rays, Mri Machines, Ct Scanners, And Ultrasound Machines.

  • Experience In Healthcare Administration: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Prior Experience In A Healthcare Administrative Role, As They Will Be Responsible For Overseeing The Scheduling, Billing, And Coordination Of Imaging Procedures. This Requires A Thorough Understanding Of Healthcare Processes And Regulations.

  • Strong Communication Skills: As A Procedure Coordinator, Effective Communication Is Crucial In Coordinating With Patients, Physicians, And Imaging Technicians. The Ability To Clearly And Concisely Convey Important Information Is Essential To Ensure Procedures Run Smoothly.

  • Attention To Detail: The Procedure Coordinator Will Be Responsible For Maintaining Accurate Records, Scheduling Procedures, And Ensuring Proper Billing. Attention To Detail Is Crucial In This Role To Ensure Accuracy And Prevent Errors.
