- Conduct comprehensive neuropsychological assessments for pediatric patients to evaluate cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functioning.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
- Provide evidence-based interventions and therapy to children and adolescents with neurological and developmental disorders.
- Continuously monitor and track patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
- Educate patients and their families on the nature of their condition and how to manage symptoms and behaviors.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.
- Stay up to date with current research and advancements in pediatric neuropsychology to provide the best care for patients.
- Collaborate with community resources and organizations to support the well-being of pediatric patients and their families.
- Adhere to ethical and legal standards in the field of psychology.
- Adhere to all policies, procedures, and regulations of Atrium Health.
- Participate in team meetings and case conferences to discuss patient care and treatment plans.

Doctoral Degree: The Ideal Candidate For This Position Should Possess A Doctoral Degree In Clinical Psychology Or Neuropsychology From An Accredited University.
License And Certification: A Valid State License To Practice As A Psychologist, As Well As Certification In Pediatric Neuropsychology Through The American Board Of Professional Psychology (Abpp) Or American Board Of Clinical Neuropsychology (Abcn) Is Required.
Specialization In Pediatric Neuropsychology: A Minimum Of Two Years Of Specialized Training And Experience In Pediatric Neuropsychology, With A Strong Understanding Of Developmental And Neurological Disorders In Children, Is Necessary For This Role.
Clinical Experience: The Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of Five Years Of Clinical Experience In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably With Children And Adolescents, Conducting Neuropsychological Evaluations And Providing Evidence-Based Treatment.
Communication And Teamwork Skills: Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential For Working With Pediatric Patients, Their Families, And A Multidisciplinary Team Of Healthcare Professionals. The Candidate Should Also Have Experience Collaborating With Schools And Other Community Resources To Provide Comprehensive Care For Patients.
