  1. Provide specialized care for children and families by utilizing expertise in developmental and behavioral psychology.
  2. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans for young patients.
  3. Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify and address developmental and behavioral concerns.
  4. Utilize evidence-based practices to deliver high-quality and compassionate care to patients.

  10. Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care, treatment plans, and progress.
  11. Serve as a resource and advocate for patients and families, promoting their rights and well-being.
  12. Continuously assess and evaluate patient outcomes to ensure the effectiveness of treatment and make adjustments as needed.
  13. Attend professional development opportunities and conferences to enhance knowledge and skills in the field of developmental and behavioral psychology.
  14. Foster a positive and supportive work environment by collaborating with colleagues and promoting a team approach to patient care.
  15. Adhere to all Atrium Health policies and procedures and maintain a high level of professionalism at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Doctoral Degree In Psychology (Ph.d. Or Psy.d.) With A Specialization In Developmental And Behavioral Pediatrics.

  • Current Licensure As A Psychologist In The State Of North Carolina.

  • At Least 3 Years Of Experience Working With Children And Adolescents With Developmental And Behavioral Disorders.

  • Board Certification In Developmental And Behavioral Pediatrics By The American Board Of Clinical Child And Adolescent Psychology.

  • Experience With Interdisciplinary Collaboration And Working In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably Within A Pediatric Hospital Or Clinic.
