
Physical Therapist I - Acute Care Rehab

- Conduct evaluations and assessments of patients to determine their physical therapy needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement and monitor treatment plans, adjusting as needed to ensure progress and patient satisfaction.
- Provide hands-on therapy and exercises to help patients improve mobility, strength, and function.
- Educate patients and their families on proper techniques and exercises to continue at home for ongoing progress.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, and occupational therapists, to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and any changes in condition.
- Utilize specialized equipment and technology to aid in patient recovery and rehabilitation.
- Stay current with advancements in physical therapy techniques and modalities through continuing education and professional development opportunities.
- Adhere to all ethical and legal standards and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a positive and collaborative treatment experience.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures to ensure a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned by management.
Current And Valid State Licensure As A Physical Therapist.
Bls Certification Through The American Heart Association.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Physical Therapy From An Accredited Program.
Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Acute Care Rehab Experience.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With A Multidisciplinary Team And Provide Patient Education.
