Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Physical Therapist I to join our Acute Care Rehab team. As a Physical Therapist I, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population in an acute care setting, helping individuals recover from injury and illness and regain their mobility and independence.   1. Conduct evaluations and assessments of patients to determine their physical therapy needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
  2. Implement and monitor treatment plans, adjusting as needed to ensure progress and patient satisfaction.
  3. Provide hands-on therapy and exercises to help patients improve mobility, strength, and function.
  4. Educate patients and their families on proper techniques and exercises to continue at home for ongoing progress.
  5. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, and occupational therapists, to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care.
  6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and any changes in condition.
  7. Utilize specialized equipment and technology to aid in patient recovery and rehabilitation.
  8. Stay current with advancements in physical therapy techniques and modalities through continuing education and professional development opportunities.
  9. Adhere to all ethical and legal standards and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
  10. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a positive and collaborative treatment experience.
  11. Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures to ensure a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff.
  12. Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures.
  13. Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times.
  14. Perform other job-related duties as assigned by management.

Job Qualifications
  • Current And Valid State Licensure As A Physical Therapist.

  • Bls Certification Through The American Heart Association.

  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Physical Therapy From An Accredited Program.

  • Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Acute Care Rehab Experience.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With A Multidisciplinary Team And Provide Patient Education.
