  1. Provide expert medical care to patients with physical disabilities or injuries.
  2. Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments to determine appropriate rehabilitation plans for patients.
  3. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients, including physical therapy, occupational therapy, and other rehabilitation services.
  4. Monitor and track patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
  5. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physical therapists and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
  6. Educate patients and their families on treatment options, potential outcomes, and ways to promote independence and mobility.
  7. Stay updated on the latest research and advancements in the field of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
  8. Maintain accurate and timely medical records and documentation.
  9. Adhere to all ethical and legal standards in patient care.
  10. Participate in departmental meetings, conferences, and other educational activities.
  11. Provide guidance and mentorship to medical residents and students.

Job Qualifications
  • Medical Degree: A Minimum Of An Md Or Do Degree From An Accredited Medical School Is Required For The Physical Medicine And Rehabilitation - Physician Fellow Position At Atrium Health.

  • Residency Training: Completion Of An Accredited Residency Program In Physical Medicine And Rehabilitation Is Required. Candidates With Training In Related Fields May Also Be Considered.

  • Board Certification: Candidates Must Be Board Certified Or Eligible For Board Certification In Physical Medicine And Rehabilitation.

  • Commitment To Learning: A Strong Desire To Continuously Learn And Improve Skills In The Field Of Physical Medicine And Rehabilitation Is Essential For This Fellowship Position. Candidates Should Demonstrate A Commitment To Ongoing Education And Professional Development.
