
Pharmacy Supply Chain Supervisor

- Oversee the supply chain operations for the pharmacy department, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of medications to patients.
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies to meet the needs of the pharmacy department and support overall organizational goals.
- Manage inventory levels and ensure adequate stock of medications and supplies are available at all times.
- Monitor and track supply chain performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as purchasing and finance, to ensure efficient and cost-effective procurement of medications and supplies.
- Create and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to negotiate pricing and ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Train and supervise pharmacy supply chain staff, providing guidance and support to ensure their success in their roles.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in pharmacy supply chain management, and make recommendations for process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards related to pharmacy supply chain operations.
- Participate in budget planning and monitor expenses related to supply chain operations, identifying opportunities for cost savings.
- Communicate effectively with all levels of staff, including pharmacists, technicians, and leadership, to ensure smooth and efficient supply chain operations.
- Act as a liaison between the pharmacy department and other departments within the organization to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
- Handle any supply chain-related issues or concerns that may arise, working to find solutions and prevent future occurrences.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of supply chain activities, such as inventory levels, orders, and deliveries.
- Uphold the values and mission of Atrium Health by providing exceptional care and service to patients and the community.
Bachelor's Degree In Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Experience In Supply Chain Management, Preferably In A Healthcare Or Pharmaceutical Setting.
Knowledge Of Pharmaceutical Inventory Management, Purchasing Processes, And Supply Chain Best Practices.
Strong Leadership Skills And Experience Managing A Team, Including Hiring, Training, And Performance Management.
Proficiency In Supply Chain Software And Systems, Such As Erp And Inventory Management Systems.
