1. Assist perfusionists during surgeries by setting up and operating cardiopulmonary bypass equipment.
2. Ensure all equipment is functioning properly and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
3. Maintain accurate records of perfusion procedures, including patient information and equipment usage.
4. Monitor patient vitals and communicate any changes to the perfusion team.
5. Prepare and maintain sterile fields for surgeries, following all safety protocols and infection control procedures.
6. Assist with patient transport to and from the operating room.
