- Evaluate and assess the technology needs of our pediatric patients.
- Work closely with healthcare providers to determine the best technology solutions for each patient.
- Procure and maintain a variety of technology tools and devices for pediatric patients, such as tablets, gaming systems, and communication devices.
- Train and educate healthcare providers and patients on how to effectively utilize technology for optimal care and treatment.
- Collaborate with the IT department to ensure all technology used is secure and compliant with HIPAA regulations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise with patient technology.
- Continuously research and stay updated on the latest technology advancements and how they can benefit pediatric patients.
- Develop and implement innovative ways to use technology to improve the patient experience and outcomes.
- Create and maintain documentation and records related to patient technology usage.
- Communicate and collaborate with patients and their families to understand their needs and provide support and guidance in utilizing technology.
Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience Working In A Pediatric Healthcare Setting.
Strong Understanding Of Pediatric Medical Terminology And Workflows.
Experience With Implementing And Supporting Electronic Health Record Systems, Preferably Epic.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Closely With Pediatric Patients And Their Families.
