  1. Safely and efficiently transport patients to and from various locations within the healthcare facility
  2. Ensure patient safety during transportation by following proper protocols and procedures
  3. Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and healthcare staff to provide a positive and comfortable experience
  4. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient transfers and transportation schedules
  5. Collaborate with other healthcare team members to coordinate patient transfers and prioritize tasks
  6. Adhere to infection control and safety guidelines to prevent the spread of illness and maintain a clean and sterile environment
  7. Assist with the transfer of medical equipment and supplies as needed

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Candidate For A Patient Transporter Specialist Position At Atrium Health Should Have A Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Equivalent Education.

  • Customer Service Experience: As A Patient Transporter Specialist, The Ability To Provide Exceptional Customer Service Is Essential. Previous Experience In A Customer-Facing Role Is Preferred.
