Patient Transporter Specialist

Responsibilities:

1. Provide safe, courteous, and efficient transport of patients, medical specimens, and supplies throughout the facility.
2. Ensure that patients are comfortable and have all necessary supplies during transport.
3. Ensure that all medical specimens and supplies are delivered to the correct destination in a timely manner.
4. Assist with general housekeeping tasks, such as restocking supplies, cleaning transport vehicles, and other tasks as needed.
5. Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
6. Maintain accurate records of all transport activities.
7. Follow strict safety protocols and adhere to all applicable regulations.
8. Assist with the setup and removal of equipment for procedures and exams.
9. Monitor patient condition during transport and alert medical staff if necessary.
10. Perform other duties as assigned.
