  • Perform comprehensive audiological evaluations on patients of all ages.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans for patients based on their individual needs and goals.
  • Conduct hearing aid fittings and adjustments, as well as provide counseling and education on proper use and care of hearing aids.
  • Utilize advanced technology and equipment to accurately diagnose and treat hearing disorders.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.
  • Stay current with advancements and best practices in audiology through continuing education and professional development.
  • Educate patients and their families on the effects of hearing loss and the benefits of treatment.
  • Utilize strong communication skills to effectively explain diagnoses and treatment plans to patients and their families.
  • Adhere to all ethical and legal standards in patient care.
  • Work independently, as well as part of a multidisciplinary team, to provide the best possible care for patients.
  • Adhere to all Atrium Health policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a positive and compassionate attitude towards patients, their families, and colleagues.

Job Qualifications
  • Master's Degree In Audiology: A Minimum Requirement For A Part-Time Or Prn Audiologist Job At Atrium Health Is A Master's Degree In Audiology From An Accredited University.

  • State Licensure: The Candidate Must Hold A Valid License To Practice Audiology In The State Of North Carolina Or Be Eligible For Licensure.

  • Experience In A Clinical Setting: Atrium Health Looks For Candidates With At Least 1-2 Years Of Experience Working In A Clinical Setting, Preferably In An Ent Or Audiology Clinic.

  • Strong Communication Skills: As An Audiologist At Atrium Health, The Candidate Must Possess Excellent Communication Skills To Interact With Patients, Families, And Healthcare Professionals.

  • Knowledge Of Latest Audiology Technology: Atrium Health Values Candidates Who Are Up-To-Date With The Latest Audiology Technology And Have Experience In Using Diagnostic Equipment And Hearing Aids.
