  1. Perform surgical procedures on patients with hand and upper extremity injuries and conditions.
  2. Utilize advanced techniques and technology to provide the highest quality of care.

  5. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.

Job Qualifications
  • Medical Degree: Atrium Health Requires All Applicants For The Orthopedic Hand/Upper Extremity Surgeon Position To Have A Medical Degree From An Accredited Medical School.

  • Board Certification: Candidates Must Be Board Certified In Orthopedic Surgery, As Well As Have A Subspecialty Certification In Hand Surgery From The American Board Of Orthopaedic Surgery.

  • Fellowship Training: Atrium Health Prefers Candidates With Fellowship Training In Hand And Upper Extremity Surgery, Demonstrating A Specialized Focus And Expertise In This Area.

  • Experience: The Ideal Candidate Will Have A Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Orthopedic Hand/Upper Extremity Surgery, With A Proven Track Record Of Successful Outcomes And Patient Satisfaction.

  • Licensure: Candidates Must Hold A Valid Medical License To Practice In The State Of North Carolina And Be Eligible For Medical Staff Privileges At Atrium Health Facilities.
