  1. Oversee the daily operations of the Med Surg Ortho unit, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of patient care.

  10. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
  11. Act as a role model for professionalism, integrity, and ethical behavior.
  12. Participate in recruitment, retention, and performance evaluation of staff.
  13. Handle any conflicts or issues that may arise within the unit, using effective problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  14. Develop and maintain relationships with patients and their families, addressing any concerns and promoting a positive patient experience.
  15. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of unit activities, including patient care, staffing, and budgeting.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing From An Accredited Institution

  • Current And Valid Rn License In The State Of North Carolina

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In A Med Surg Ortho Setting

  • Leadership Skills And Experience In Managing A Team Of Nurses And Support Staff

  • Knowledge Of Evidence-Based Practice, Quality Improvement Initiatives, And Regulatory Compliance In Healthcare.
