- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the 7A General Pediatric Unit at Levine Children's Hospital.
- Provide strong leadership and direction to the nursing staff, ensuring high-quality patient care and safety.
- Develop and implement unit policies and procedures in accordance with hospital standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to create and maintain a positive and efficient work environment.
- Evaluate and monitor nursing staff performance, providing ongoing feedback and coaching to promote professional growth.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Coordinate and participate in the hiring, orientation, and training of new nursing staff.
- Monitor and manage unit budget and resources, ensuring cost-effective practices and efficient use of supplies.

Bachelor's Degree In Nursing: A Nurse Manager At Levine Children's Hospital 7A General Pediatric Unit Must Have A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Nursing From An Accredited Institution.
Valid Rn License: The Candidate Must Hold A Current And Valid Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of North Carolina, Or Be Eligible For Licensure.
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Nursing Experience: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 3 Years Of Nursing Experience, Preferably In A Pediatric Setting, To Effectively Manage The Nursing Staff And Patient Care On The Unit.
Leadership And Management Skills: A Nurse Manager Should Possess Strong Leadership And Management Skills To Effectively Lead And Mentor The Nursing Staff, Manage Budgets, And Make Strategic Decisions For The Unit.
Pediatric Nursing Certification: Preference Will Be Given To Candidates Who Hold A Certification In Pediatric Nursing, Such As Cpn Or Rn-Bc, To Demonstrate Their Specialized Knowledge And Skills In Caring For Pediatric Patients.
