  1. Assist nursing staff in providing exceptional care to patients by performing tasks such as taking vital signs, assisting with personal hygiene, and monitoring patient conditions.
  2. Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by regularly disinfecting equipment and maintaining proper infection control protocols.
  3. Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and healthcare team members to ensure that all needs are met and concerns are addressed in a timely manner.
  4. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations, to maintain a high standard of care and protect patient rights.
  5. Document all patient interactions and activities accurately and thoroughly in medical records to ensure continuity of care and facilitate effective communication among healthcare team members.
  6. Participate in ongoing training and educational opportunities to stay up-to-date on best practices and new developments in the field of healthcare.
  7. Collaborate with other healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients, taking into consideration their specific needs and preferences.
  8. Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families during difficult times, showing empathy and compassion in all interactions.
  9. Perform other related duties as assigned by nursing staff or healthcare administrators, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to contribute to the overall success of the team.
  10. Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times, representing Atrium Health and its values in all interactions with patients, colleagues, and the community.

Job Qualifications
  • Basic Life Support (Bls) Certification
