  1. Provide compassionate and exceptional care to patients in accordance with Atrium Health's standards and policies.
  2. Assist healthcare team members in providing high-quality care to patients, including performing basic nursing procedures and administering medications under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
  3. Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, adhering to infection control protocols and ensuring all equipment is properly sanitized and maintained.
  4. Monitor patient's vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare team member.
  5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting all care provided and any changes in patient's condition.
  6. Communicate effectively and professionally with patients, their families, and healthcare team members.
  7. Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and eating, while promoting independence and respecting their privacy and dignity.
  8. Respond to patient's call lights and requests promptly and courteously, ensuring their needs are met in a timely manner.
  9. Attend and actively participate in staff meetings, continuing education, and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
  10. Adhere to all safety and emergency procedures, including proper lifting and transferring techniques, to ensure the well-being of patients and yourself.
  11. Demonstrate a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service and satisfaction to patients and their families.
  12. Adhere to all ethical and legal standards, maintaining patient confidentiality and upholding patient rights.
  13. Collaborate with other healthcare team members to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
  14. Act as an advocate for patients, addressing their needs and concerns and ensuring their voices are heard.
  15. Continuously seek opportunities for personal and professional growth and development to improve job performance and contribute to the overall success of Atrium Health.

Job Qualifications
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (Cna) Certification From An Accredited Program.

  • Basic Knowledge Of Medical Terminology And Procedures.

  • Ability To Effectively Communicate With Patients, Families, And Healthcare Team Members.

  • Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In A Hospital Or Long-Term Care Facility.

  • Strong Attention To Detail And Ability To Follow Instructions Accurately.
