  1. Conduct statistical analyses: The Biostatistician II will be responsible for conducting statistical analyses on healthcare data to support research projects and inform decision-making.
  2. Collaborate with research teams: This role will involve working closely with researchers, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to design studies, analyze data, and interpret results.
  3. Develop and validate statistical models: The Biostatistician II will be responsible for developing and validating statistical models to analyze complex healthcare data, ensuring accurate and reliable results.

  7. Contribute to study design: The Biostatistician II will provide input and support in the design of research studies, including sample size determination, randomization, and statistical methods.
  8. Mentor junior staff: This role may involve mentoring and providing guidance to junior biostatisticians and other team members, sharing knowledge and expertise to support their professional growth.
  9. Ensure compliance: The Biostatistician II will ensure compliance with relevant regulations, guidelines, and ethical standards in the conduct of research and use of data.

Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree In Biostatistics Or Related Field: A Minimum Of A Master's Degree In Biostatistics, Statistics, Or A Related Field Is Required For The Biostatistician Ii Position At Atrium Health. This Ensures That The Candidate Has A Strong Foundation In Statistical Methods And Techniques.

  • Experience In Healthcare Or Clinical Research: Atrium Health Is A Leading Healthcare Organization, So Experience In This Field Is Highly Valued. Previous Experience Working In A Healthcare Setting Or Conducting Clinical Research Is Preferred For This Position.

  • Proficiency In Statistical Software: The Biostatistician Ii Will Be Responsible For Analyzing Large Datasets And Providing Statistical Support For Research Projects. Therefore, Proficiency In Statistical Software Such As Sas, R, Or Spss Is Required.

  • Strong Communication And Collaboration Skills: The Biostatistician Ii Will Work Closely With Healthcare Professionals, Researchers, And Other Team Members. Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills Are Essential To Effectively Communicate Statistical Findings And Collaborate On Research Projects.

  • Knowledge Of Regulatory Guidelines: Atrium Health Is Committed To Conducting Ethical And Compliant Research. Therefore, Knowledge Of Regulatory Guidelines Such As Hipaa, Fda Regulations, And Good Clinical Practice (Gcp) Is Necessary For This Position.
