- Perform a variety of laboratory tests and procedures accurately and efficiently, following established protocols and standards.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring proper functioning and adherence to safety procedures.
- Receive, label, and process patient samples, ensuring accurate identification and proper handling.
- Prepare and analyze samples for various laboratory tests, including but not limited to hematology, microbiology, and chemistry.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of test results and patient information.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that may arise during testing, ensuring accurate and reliable results.
- Follow quality control procedures and participate in proficiency testing to ensure the accuracy and validity of test results.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals, providing timely and accurate updates on test results.
- Adhere to all laboratory safety and infection control protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Continuously monitor and maintain inventory levels of laboratory supplies, reagents, and equipment.
- Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current with new techniques, procedures, and technology.
- Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure the highest quality of patient care.
- Contribute to the maintenance and improvement of laboratory policies and procedures.

Associate's Degree In Medical Laboratory Science Or A Related Field
Certification As A Medical Laboratory Technician (Mlt) From A Recognized Accrediting Agency
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working In A Clinical Laboratory Setting
Strong Knowledge Of Laboratory Procedures, Equipment, And Quality Control Measures
Excellent Communication And Teamwork Skills, With The Ability To Work Efficiently And Accurately Under Pressure.
