- Provide compassionate and quality patient care in a timely manner.
- Assist physicians and other healthcare professionals in clinical procedures and treatments.
- Prepare and maintain patient medical records and documentation accurately.
- Coordinate and schedule appointments, tests, and procedures for patients.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by physicians.
- Maintain and stock medical supplies and equipment.
- Ensure proper infection control and safety protocols are followed.
- Educate and communicate with patients and their families about procedures, treatments, and medication instructions.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to provide coordinated and comprehensive care to patients.
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.
- Act as a liaison between patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
- Attend and participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.
- Demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and staying up-to-date on industry developments and best practices.
- Adhere to Atrium Health policies and procedures.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude towards patients and colleagues.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Interact With Patients And Healthcare Team Members.
Certified Medical Assistant (Cma) Or Registered Medical Assistant (Rma) Credentials.
Minimum Of 1 Year Of Experience Working In A Medical Office Or Clinic Setting.
Knowledge Of Medical Terminology, Procedures, And Electronic Medical Records Systems.
Ability To Multitask And Prioritize Tasks In A Fast-Paced Environment While Maintaining Attention To Detail And Accuracy.
