- Develop and implement physician compensation strategies that align with Atrium Health's overall goals and objectives.
- Conduct regular market research and analysis to ensure our compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders, including HR, Finance, and leadership, to establish fair and transparent compensation policies and procedures.
- Monitor and manage physician compensation budget and expenses, ensuring compliance with organizational financial guidelines.
- Oversee the administration of physician compensation plans, including salary, bonuses, and other incentives.
- Serve as the main point of contact for physician compensation inquiries and escalations.
- Identify and address any compensation-related issues or concerns, working closely with HR and legal teams as needed.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to physician compensation.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with physicians and physician leaders to understand their needs and preferences.
- Lead and mentor a team of compensation professionals, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation and records related to physician compensation plans and decisions.
- Ensure all compensation practices are in compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to provide accurate and timely reporting on physician compensation expenses.
- Continuously seek opportunities to enhance and improve our physician compensation programs to attract and retain top talent.
- Represent Atrium Health in compensation-related discussions and negotiations with external partners, such as payers and vendors.
Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Healthcare Finance Or Compensation Management, With Specific Experience In Physician Compensation.
Advanced Knowledge Of Compensation Models And Regulations, Including Rvus, Mgma Guidelines, And Stark Law.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Interpret And Analyze Complex Financial Data.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Physicians, Executives, And Other Stakeholders.
Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Business, Or A Related Field. Master's Degree Preferred.
