  1. Develop and implement strategies for the efficient and effective management of materials resources in alignment with Atrium Health's mission and objectives.
  2. Lead and manage a team of materials resource management staff, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to ensure the success of the department.
  3. Oversee the procurement, inventory management, and distribution of all materials resources, including medical supplies, equipment, and pharmaceuticals.
  4. Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to understand their materials resource needs and develop plans to meet those needs while optimizing costs and resources.
  5. Monitor and analyze materials resource utilization and trends, providing recommendations for improvement and cost savings opportunities.
  6. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards related to materials resource management, including proper handling and storage of sensitive materials.
  7. Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers, negotiating favorable contracts and pricing to support the organization's goals.
  8. Utilize data and technology to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and enhance the overall management of materials resources.
  9. Develop and implement policies and procedures related to materials resource management, ensuring consistency and adherence across the organization.
  10. Stay current on industry trends and best practices in materials resource management, continuously seeking opportunities for improvement and innovation.
  11. Foster a culture of collaboration, communication, and continuous improvement within the materials resource management team and across the organization.
  12. Represent Atrium Health in a professional and positive manner, building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Materials Resource Management, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting.

  • Strong Understanding Of Inventory Management Principles And Supply Chain Processes.

  • Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Manage A Team.

  • Proficiency In Computer Systems And Software, Including Inventory Management Software And Databases.
